The Victorian AIDS Council/Gay Men’s Health Centre (VAC/GMHC) is a vibrant community based organisation that supports the health, wellbeing and social inclusion of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. We also work to improve the health and wellbeing of Victoria’s sexually and gender diverse communities.
Following the completion of our 2012-2017 strategic plan, we are implementing a new management structure, which includes the new position of Director - People and Culture. Reporting to the Executive Director, this effective and energetic leader will contribute significantly to the success of VAC/GMHC.

Director – People and Culture
The People and Culture Division will lead the organisation on human resource management, training and development and industrial relations. The Director will also develop and manage a members and donors program and a volunteer attraction and retention program.
You will have senior management experience and high level understanding of contemporary approaches to human resources management. You will be skilled in analysing complex issues, formulating new approaches and developing culture and workforce improvement strategies in alignment with organisational values and directions.
